Benchmark has RECOMMENDED GSD's 1FP Fingerprint Switch - January 2011

Global Security Devices (GSD) is pleased to inform that Bench Mark magazine has awarded our 1FP Fingerprint switch as recommended switch for access control.

1FP Fingerprint switch is a standalone single door controller which supports up to 35 users.

Benchmark has stated that; "All of the settings are simple, and the fingerprint enrolment is relatively swift. You simply enter the engineer code, select the enrol mode, choose an empty slot for the user, present the finger, after the tone remove then represent the finger, and that's it.

The unit performs well, and throughput is fast, with recognition and door opening taking around two seconds".

Global Security Devices (GSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Byrne as Sales Channel Manager for both the UK & Irish channels, David will manage GSD's complete security portfolio which includes Access Control, Intruder Alarm and the soon to be launched IP CCTV.

David brings with him three years experience as Sales Channel Manager for Sony having managed their IP Security Solutions.

Global Security Devices (GSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Fogarty to the position of R&D Technician. Martin joins GSD to support the R&D team in delivering innovative hardware and software products to further strengthen the GSD brand within the industry.

Martin, who has an Honors degree in Electronics Engineering from Tallaght, IT, is responsible for supporting the hardware and software design team in continuing to deliver innovative new products. Global Security Devices (GSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aidan Giblin as Customer Support Engineer. Aidan joins GSD to build on company's reputation of excellent support. Aidan's primary function is to assist installation companies pre and post installations with training and technical support on GSD's product range.

Aidan, who has a degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Limerick, has five years of previous experience in the role with ACT. Aidan is responsible for full technical support on all GSD products. Aidan will also assist on commissioning and site configuration on all GSD systems. View PDF
