GSDi Self Activating External Siren (SAS-Ex)
The fully functional self-activating external siren (SAS-Ex) is completely wirefree and requires no additional power supply, giving the installer full freedom to install the siren in the optimal positions. It also has the benefit of the 'live-look' heartbeat LED which up to now has only been available with wired self-activating bells (SABs). Battery life is up to five years, dependent on how long the siren is set to sound for, its volume level, whether it is used in conjunction with any other system notification function and the number of activations. The siren is in full two-way communications with the main control panel every five seconds giving status and 'handshake' reports. All system sounds and notifications can be mapped to the SAS-Ex
